Evelyn Dorothy (Eggers) Stoltz, 63, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, peacefully at McKay-Dee Hospital.
Evelyn was born on April 4, 1958 in Monticello, Utah to John Wesley Eggers and Dorothy May Bering. She spent most of her life in Roy, Utah. She attended school at the Utah School for the Deaf and Blind.
Evelyn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She met her husband, Wayne Stoltz while attending the old Ogden Deaf Branch. They were married in Layton, Utah on October 2, 1976 and later sealed in the Ogden temple on August 12, 2021.
She was active and busy at Hill Air Force Base for 25 years in a variety of positions. She enjoyed serving and helping everyone. She was a fan of NASCAR, loved sports and the JAZZ. But her greatest love and joy was her family and her dogs.
Evelyn is preceded in death by both of her parents and one brother, Mike Eggers. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Stoltz of Roy, Utah; her son, Wayne A. Stoltz II of Syracuse, Utah; her daughter, Celestia Stoltz of Roy, Utah; two brothers, Fred Eggers of Colorado; and Robert Eggers of Washington; and five sisters; Mary Ender of Heber, Utah; Clara Eggers of Grand Junction, Colorado; Anna Hilton of Heber, Utah; Laura Eggers of Arizona; and Rhonda Miller of Price, Utah.
Donations for funeral expenses will be accepted by Premier Funeral Services in Roy, Utah.
Memorial services will be held Monday, November 8, 2021
