Timeless and Fun, The Music Man is just as magical as if seventy-six trombones marched down your very own street! CenterPoint Legacy Theatre has done it again with this charming blast from the past, chock-full of memorable songs, hilarious and charming characters, and a story for the ages.
Excitement isn’t a common word in the sleepy town of River City, Iowa, that is until a con man that’s looking for his next target, happens upon the unassuming little city. Harold Hill manages to beguile the townsfolk and convinces them to go along with his scheme, everyone but the local librarian, that is. But even Harold himself couldn’t foresee developing feelings for the beautiful Marion Paroo. Now this professional hustler must choose between the life he’s always known and the love of a good woman and the entire town.
Directed by Shelby Ferrin, Musically Directed by Tara Wardle, Choreographed by Aaron Ford, there is no shortage of fun in this memorable musical and each cast shines brighter than seventy-six trombones!
A definite must-see at CenterPoint Legacy Theatre. Reserve your tickets by calling the box office at 801-298-1302 or go online to cptutah.org.
