The smart and beautiful young Ella has been left to a life of servitude to her self-centered stepmother Madame and her two stepsisters, Charlotte and Gabrielle. Ella’s only friends are the animals in the woods, “crazy Marie” and the forward-thinking student Jean-Michel. At the same time, Prince Topher is trying to find himself and his place in the kingdom. At a ball designed to find him a bride, Prince Topher and Ella’s worlds converge in an enchanting and magical way that makes you believe that dreams really do come true.
