Partners in LADHH is an resourceful, adequacy-based leadership training program for adults with hearing loss and parents of young children with the hearing loss.

Goal:

• Educate participants to be active partners in making positive changes

Action:

• Train participants in best practices over a wide range of issues and
• Help them acquire the skills necessary to change systems.

Outcome:

• Become partners in team leadership
• Create a shared vision, enlarging the power base of rights advocates
• Become proficient to change their own lives
• Work for changes that will affect others with hearing loss at local, state, & national levels
• Are expected to be agents of long term change
• Learn there are no “quick fixes”
• Are trained to achieve long term successess
